As a marketing graduate student, having a portfolio is important to showcase creativity, skill and an understanding of marketing trends. My first marketing portfolio example mixes beauty and caffeine. It isn’t completely visualized but it paints a picture of the possibilities for each company.

Since the Rhode Summer Tour came to Newport, we got a taste for a possible collaboration with The Nitro Bar.

As a repeat customer of both, I wanted to combine these “rhodes” for the ultimate collection. Being a beauty advisor, I see the amount of people that shop for Rhode and wait anxiously for new products. So why not create something from two worlds I know and love.

The first product would be peptide lip treatments, in The Nitro Bar’s best-selling flavors like Caramelized Banana, Matcha Cookie, and Salted Honey Latte. The packaging would be the same shape but consistent with the iconic blue shade of the coffee shop. It would be white with blue font and a line drawing of a cow used on previous merchandise. The box would be the same blue shade with Rhode x The Nitro Bar featured. The second product would be Peptide Depuffing Eye Patches. They would be blue with line drawings of the same cows. All Nitro Bar locations will be stocked, along with select Sephora locations. It would be available for limited drops on Rhodes website.

Of course, there would be a drink for the collaboration. I want to combine both Rhode and The Nitro Bars classic taste for a limited edition, Iced Vanilla-Cinnnamon Latte, topped with Banana Whip. Like all drinks, it could be made into a matcha. For merchandise, there would be a sweatshirt and t-shirt with a custom design meshing both brands. Along with stickers with custom designs. These would be available on Rhodes website and Nitro Bar locations.

    Created and designed by me.
